Adoptions are held at our shelter and adoption center at 720 14th Street NW in Midtown, between Northside Drive and Howell Mill Road.
Hours
Tuesday – Friday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
*The last adoption application is taken at 4:30 p.m.
**Dogs and cats in foster homes usually are not available for adoption Tuesday through Friday. Some pets are available by appointment only. Please check the website regularly for the availability of the pet that interests you.
